We are committed to pursue a continuous leap forward at the five GREAT Innovation goals in the five areas of Governance, Research, Education, Academic-Industry Collaboration, and Transnational Platform.
Great CHANGE®
With the five GREAT Innovation goals, we are pursuing to nurture students to be professional manpower with the six core competencies (New-CHANGE) suggested in the Chungbuk National University Comprehensive Development Plan. We are also aiming at producing world-class professors(Star Professors) with the world-class level of research capability, and making the world-famous department(Star Department) as well. Those goals will lead our school to be ranked among the world’s top 200 universities and have five departments be ranked among the world's top 50.

- Education support and academic affairs management system at the level of advanced research universities from admission to graduation
- Substantialization of education system by seeking institutional innovation, improving the rate of lectures by full-time faculty, limiting the number of students supervised by the professor, strengthening research methods and research ethics courses, enhancing vocational competency, reinforcing the employment support function of graduate students, etc.
