2. Application and Application Unit |
Common to Education Research Group and Team
- Education Research Group: Graduate school consisting of a single department (faculty) with the nature of convergence and multidisciplinary studies, a single department (faculty) within the graduate school (faculty), a major with a separate recruitment quota for graduate students within the department (faculty), and interdisciplinary program or convergence program
※ Can apply to Education Research Group organized based on convergence majors conferring joint degrees between universities, and additional points are awarded for selection evaluation

3. Conditions for Application |
Can apply to Education Research Group only
- Doctoral students must be registered as of the date of application
- In the case of a department established within 3 years from the start date of the project (Mar 1, 2017~Sept 1, 2020), a doctoral program recruitment plan must be submitted (checked within 2 years when selected)
- Application can be made even if the department is being prepared for establishment and operation by the start date of the project (Sept 1, 2020) with the establishment of an academic unit plan (checked within 2 years when selected)

4. Organization of Education Research Group (Team) |
- (Education Research Team) At least three professors belonging to the application unit
※ In the case of the Education Research Group with seven or more participants from one department, it can apply for up to two detailed fields, and some of the professors (less than seven) who do not belong to the education research group can apply for other detailed fields by organizing an educational program such as an interdisciplinary program or convergence program with professors from other departments.
※ Non-participating professors belonging to the unit that applies for the Future Talent Training Project Education Research Group or Education Research Team cannot participate in the Innovative Talent Training Project Education Research Group.

5. Qualifications for members of the Education Research Group (Team) |
- (Head of Education Research Group (Team)) A person who has excellent educational, research, and administrative capabilities, and has three or more research achievements in the last 5 years (Jan 2015~Dec 2019)
※ A person in charge of large-scale national R&D projects (SRC, ERC, MRC, NCRC, IBS, etc.) or a person in charge of national R&D projects with an annual amount of KRW 2 billion or more cannot serve as the head of the Education Research Team
- (Participating Professor) Participating professors: Full-time faculty belonging to the department applying for a participation, convergence major or interdisciplinary program
- Full-time professors in other departments and adjunct professors in the department applying for participation in the education research group (team) can participate.
- (Participating Graduate Students) Full-time graduate students led by a participating professor and who are able to concentrate on related research and classes for at least 40 hours a week
- A student who has not passed 2 years of a master's degree, 4 years of a doctoral degree and 6 years of a combined master's and doctoral degree
- (New research manpower) Postdoctoral students and contract professors must have a doctorate degree

6. Restriction on doubled participation |
- Professors and graduate students can participate in only one Education Research Group (team)
※ In the case of the field solving industrial and social problems, the number of education research groups that can be applied at one college is limited to four (in the case of more than 4,000 students), three (in the case of more than 2,000 students and two (in the case of less than 2000 students) based on the number of enrolled graduate students.
